We'd like to proudly present you next generation of ITE disruptive ASICs for COFDM modulation. The new chip is IT9517 is also known as Eagle2. The chip follows up the IT9507 Eagle model (DVB-T only) and adds to the table the ISDB-T modulation scheme.

In the picture the IT9517 evaluation board ready for distribution and tests. Practically speaking, the board can be driven in two ways: I2C/TS for embedded test or through USB.
Avalpa is introducing IT9517 Evaluation boards in the Italian and European markets so feel free to get in touch with us on the dedicated web forum (or by mail for confidentiality) for evaluating interesting use cases for these little rascals! An impressive flood of digital television consumer solutions are coming.

Hello Amerigo,
the board is indeed targeted to Europe and South America markets. Avalpa's actual aim is to raise enough interest on selected customers.

This card is not meant for general purpose but it's mainly targeting professionals/firms who want to evaluate its features and achieve confidence for a further mass production of their own design.

ITE's main business model is selling large batch of chips, indeed!

Hello,

thanx for the interest.

the card are actually for sale here.
The best suggestion i can give you is to get the "gap filler" bundle, so you can get both a DVB-T RX daughter card and the DVB-T TX card (that works also as a standalone USB modulator..)

This way you can have a modular setup for plenty of different configuration. Write to mr. Mike Chen (Hides marketing manager) if you need the featureset and eventually let him now you got the news from the Avalpa web site.

best
