Lorenzo Pallara, Avalpa co-founder, and Andreas Berger of the Wien Research Center FTW will present an Open Source software framework used to generate MPEG-2 Transport Streams for transmission of digital TV programs. Due to the framework's modular architecture and its support for a broad variety of recent digital broadcast standards (such as DVB-H), it can be employed for many different prototype implementations and testbed setups in the context of Multimedia research.
The title is: "An Open Source Software Framework for DVB-* Transmission" and is schedule on the Open Source track, October, 30 in the afternoon. Next ACM will be held in Vancouver (Canada) from October, 27 to November, 1 |
