Hello,

I have to send a file through DSMCC, but i have some questions. I read some articles about DSMCC but my understanding of DSMCC isn´t as good as I want.

There are some ideas that i want to ask:

- Maximun DDB size is 4066 bytes.

- Modules are formed for DDB and we have only 256 DDB for each module [This info is extracted from opencaster source code, but i´m not sure that this info is right]. So assuming that this info is right, maximun size for Module is 1MB more or least.

- Files can´t be on different Modules (This is very confused and this sentence is opposite to other that I write)

- Modules are grouped by DII, and one DII can specify 150 modules. So the maximun size on related modules is 150 MB more or least.

Some questions:

If i want to broadcast a file bigger than 1 MB, how is the best way to do it ? Do I have to split a file on multiple parts littler than 1 MB ?

If i want to broadcast a file bigger than 150 MB ? What is the best strategy, to get a success result?

Any help or correction is appreciate.

Thanks.
